From Tirana to Europe.
Ekrem Erduran started small in Albania in 2007. Today we produce on the Rinas road outside Tirana, ship from Stolberg near Aachen – and we are only getting started.

How it began
It started with a small business, a lot of patience and the wish to make sweets the way they should be made.
In 2007 Ekrem Erduran founded Méva in Albania – a small producer with big standards. Baklava, lokum and desserts, made fresh every day.
One thing has not changed since: we would rather test something ten times than sell it too soon. And we only grow as fast as our quality can grow with us.

2007
A beginning in Albania
Ekrem Erduran founds Méva as a small producer in Tirana. One small room, a handful of recipes – and a firm resolve to get every single one right.

We tested countless recipes, flavours and products, and set many of them aside again. Only what truly convinced us made the cut.

Digital and transparent
We take Méva fully digital: online ordering, processes you can follow, and a business built around delivery. Our rule ever since: whatever we make has to arrive perfect. In Albania we now deliver to every city in the country.

More room on the Rinas road
Our small premises in Tirana make way for a larger production site on the Rinas road. More space for our craft – and for the volumes that shipping across Europe needs.

Méva comes to Germany
Together with our partner Harus Tas we found Meva Patisserie GmbH in Stolberg near Aachen. From here, our lokum boxes travel to your door – in Germany and across the EU.
