Our workshop
Where lokum takes its time.
In Stolberg near Aachen we cook, cut and pack every box by hand – the traditional way, in small batches and without artificial colouring.
What we stand for
Lokum is one of the oldest sweets in the world. We think it deserves to be taken seriously.
The "Turkish delight" most people know from the supermarket is often garishly coloured, far too sweet and quickly forgotten. Good lokum is different: soft yet with a little bite, delicate in flavour and so full of nuts you never have to go looking for them.
That's exactly how we make it: with a handful of good ingredients, a recipe that takes no shortcuts, and hands that cut every single piece.
The craft
Cook. Rest. Cut.
Four steps, none of them rushed. This is how every box is made.

Select
Pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts, plus rose petals, coconut and fine kadayıf threads. You can taste what goes into the box – so for us, everything starts with the ingredients.

Cook
Sugar, starch and water are cooked slowly the traditional way and stirred constantly until the mixture turns clear, thick and glossy. It takes time and attention – and it can't be hurried.

Rest
Then the lokum is left to rest and set. Only then does it take on the soft, springy texture you feel with the first bite.

Cut & pack
Finally we cut every piece by hand and place it carefully in the box. No two pieces are exactly alike – and that's intentional.
